Wi-Fi terms of use

Last updated: 18 August 2026

1. Accepting these terms

By signing in to the club's free Wi-Fi network you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not connect. The service is provided by Dumbarton Football Club and operated on our behalf by Vertex Engage.

2. Who can use it

The network is for supporters and visitors while at the stadium. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian to complete the sign-up on your behalf.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use the network to:

  • break any law, or help anyone else to do so;
  • access, store or share material that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory or that infringes someone else's copyright;
  • send spam, phishing messages or malware;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, scan the network, or interfere with other users' access;
  • run servers, peer-to-peer file sharing, or activity that consumes a disproportionate share of bandwidth.

4. Filtering and monitoring

Content filtering is applied and network traffic may be logged for security, capacity and legal compliance purposes. We do not inspect the content of encrypted personal communications.

5. Service availability

The Wi-Fi is provided free of charge on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Coverage, speed and availability vary, particularly when the stadium is busy. We may suspend, restrict or withdraw the service at any time without notice.

6. Your security

This is a shared public network. You are responsible for keeping your own device secure and up to date, and for any activity carried out through your connection.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, loss of income, or damage to your device arising from use of the network. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Suspension

We may block a device or withdraw access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

9. Your data

The details you give when signing in are handled as described in our privacy policy. Marketing emails are only sent if you opt in, and every message includes an unsubscribe link.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland.
